By this ministry the Eucharist is made available both at parish Masses and for those who are confined to their homes. Ministers are assigned on a rotation basis to all the Masses and to the homes of the sick. Ministers readily cover for each other when other commitments prevent their being present for an assignment. Holy Days and special occasions are by volunteer sign-up. Open to all parishioners of college age or older who are active in their sacramental lives. A diocesan workshop is required for preparation and training.
